I decided to use the Genesis framework based on its rock solid support, great child themes (if I ever decided to go that route, I doubt it but it is nice to have options.), amazing SEO built right on top of it, and much more.

So this will be my playground with the framework until I recode my previous theme into a child genesis theme. The Quake Media website is already getting converted into a genesis child this moment!
